Competitive Salary

Kinexus rewards its employees with competitive pay based on job requirements, position, education, experience, years of service, and performance.

Incentive Stock Option Plan

The purpose of the stock option plan is to advance the interests of the Company by granting equity participation through the acquisition of Common Shares of the Company. All employees are granted stock options on an annual basis with an expiry date of seven years from the grant date.

Company Pension Plan

Kinexus provides a generous Company-paid pension plan equivalent to ten percent (10%) of the employee's gross annual salary at the end of each year.

Flexible Health Care Plan

Kinexus offers a flexible health care plan to help offset up to 100% of the cost of eligible prescription drugs, and other medical services, fees, or equipment not covered through the basic Medical Services Plan (MSP) of British Columbia.

Flexible Dental Coverage

Kinexus covers up to 100% of eligible expenses for basic, restorative and orthodontic dental work for employees and their spouses and/or dependents.

Flexible Hours

Depending on your position requirements, Kinexus offers flexibility in working hours to accommodate transportation arrangements, day care schedules or for other various reasons.

Paid Vacation and Holidays

During your first year of employment at Kinexus, you'll earn a minimum of ten paid vacation days, increasing to twelve paid days of vacation for the second year, and then increasing at the rate of one day of paid vacation for each subsequent year up to a maximum of 30 days. Kinexus also provides eleven paid holidays including one flexible holiday.

Personal Absences and Leaves

Kinexus also provides for other days off with pay for certain personal reasons, including:
  • Marriage
  • Moving
  • Illness or death in the immediate family
Time off without pay is also available for certain personal reasons with the President's prior approval.

Educational Assistance

Continuing education is a vital component of personal and profession growth and Kinexus will reimburse up to 100% of the costs of the fees for approved, job-related courses.

Internal Development

Kinexus believes in promoting from within the Company before hiring from external sources. Kinexus employees are always given first opportunity and consideration to apply for a position.

Social Activities

Kinexus hosts many social activities including an annual Christmas party, summer barbecue and other social events throughout the year.
