Is it any wonder why biotech employees have one of the highest rates of employment satisfaction in the world? To be engaged in a decent paying job where you are intellectually stimulated by the tasks at hand, work with other highly intelligent people who are also employees, collaborators or customers, and to be dedicated towards such laudable objectives as to improve the health of the sick, it is hard to imagine a better vocation. The problem is that there are still relatively few jobs available in our sector, and the biotechnology industry in North America and Europe has not really grown in size in the last decade.
